PIA Umrah Ticket Prices 2024 Reduced: Check Update Rates Here!

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced significant reductions in Umrah fares for pilgrims. This move comes as a relief for many planning their spiritual journey to Saudi Arabia.

For those flying from Karachi to Madina, the fare has been slashed to PKR 76,000 for a round trip, excluding taxes. Pilgrims traveling from Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Multan, and Sialkot to Madina will benefit from a reduced fare of PKR 86,000, also for a round trip excluding taxes. These reduced fares are available until July 15, making it a great time for pilgrims to book their trips.

PIA has a history of offering such discounts. Just a few months ago, on April 7, the airline cut Umrah fares by 30% for a short period, which was valid until April 11. These cuts applied to flights heading to Jeddah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Dammam, reflecting PIA’s commitment to supporting pilgrims.

PIA Privatization

In other news, PIA is on the brink of a major transformation. The long-awaited privatization of the airline is expected to kick off in early August 2024. Six companies have been shortlisted for this significant process. These companies are currently reviewing PIA’s financials and have requested more time until July to finalize their assessments.

PIA and the relevant authorities are working closely with these potential buyers, providing them with all necessary information. Privatization is crucial to revitalizing the national carrier and addressing its financial challenges.
