Pink Residency Karachi Case: NAB files new reference in court

National Accountability Bureau or NAB files the new reference in the Pink Residency Karachi case on Monday (today).

To probe Pink Residency Karachi case, NAB filed new reference in the Accountability Court. In the latest reference related to the illegal allotment of land and alleged corruption in Pink Residency Karachi, was filed following approval by the NAB executive board last week.

The NAB reference nominates Aftab Ahmed Memon Secretary Land Utilization Department of the Sindh Board of Revenue and a close aide to former president Asif Ali Zardari who is under NAB custody for illegally allotting government land in favour of Pink Residency. He was arrested by the NAB Rawalpindi chapter on March 8 in the ongoing probe into the alleged misuse of his authority. In addition, Abdul Ghani Majeed from Omni Group and others are also accused in the case.
