PM Imran Khan arrived at the Foreign Office for a meeting on Pakistan’s relations with foreign countries today.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua and other officials warmly welcomed PM Imran Khan as he arrived at the FO.
“During his visit, PM Imran will be briefed on the situation in occupied Kashmir, and current situation of Pakistan’s relations with India.
PM Imran will also be taken into confidence regarding country relations with United States of America, Afghanistan, China, and Iran.
The sources also said that PM Imran will also be briefed on the Kulbhushan Jadhav case, which will be heard in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in February 2019.
According to reliable sources said, “PM Imran will apprise officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding his vision for Pakistan’s foreign policy and will issue guidelines.”
“An effective foreign policy will be drafted in line with the prime minister’s guidelines and vision.”
Sources also said, “Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will address a press conference in the evening to brief the nation regarding decisions taken during PM Imran’s FO briefing.”
