PM Imran Khan returns home on Tuesday after making his first official visit to China after resuming Prime Minister office.
Both countries emphasized on strong relations and inked several cooperation agreements and memorandum of understandings.

PM Imran Khan said Pakistan would like to follow the model of China in poverty alleviation and eradication of corruption to put the country on the path of progress and development. He was addressing the Pakistan Trade and Investment Conference 2018 in Shanghai.
PM Imran Khan said investment would only return to country once corruption was eradicated to the core.
Giving the example of accountability drive in Beijing, he said China collared 400 bigwigs involved in corrupt practices during the last five years, but Pakistan couldn’t take such an initiative.
On poverty alleviation, the prime minister Imran Khan said China has achieved in the last thirty years which no country could achieve so far and that is lifting 700 million people out of poverty.
PM Imran Khan idealize the footsteps of China and believes in following the same practices to alleviate poverty from the society by taking similar steps.
Referring to overseas Pakistanis, prime minister Imran Khan believes they are nation’s greatest asset and have always responded to a call to the nation.
It is the need of the hour to strengthen accountability institutions to make Pakistan corruption-free, said Mr. Imran Khan.
PM Imran Khan also said his government in Pakistan had initiated deep and meaningful reforms to ensure transparency and accountability and provide ‘seamless smart solutions for the government and the people’.
