PM Imran Khan will chair the federal cabinet meeting today. However, key decisions related to the country’s economic and political situation will be taken. In addition, decision will also be made about the International Monetary Fund or IMF bailout.
According to the sources, consultations about placing and removing some people form Exit Control List (ECL) will also be held. In addition, the draft bill regarding the new law which will reward people who helped politicians and NAB corrupt officials could be also presented.
The approval will be given about the appointment of heads of privatisation commission, Baitul Maal, and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
In federal cabinet meeting of 4th October, cabinet members mulled over the 6 point agenda. Petroleum Minister Ghulam Sarwar and Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry revealed that Saudi Arabia will develop the oil refinery in Gwadar. In addition, approval to convert PM House into university was also granted.
