PM Imran Khan will depart for Medina, Saudi Arabia on 22nd October.
Prime Minister Imran Khan is visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the special invitation of HRH King Salman bin Abdel Aziz. He will attend the ‘Future Investment Initiative’ (FII) conference.
The conference is termed as “Davos in the Desert”, will host leading businesspersons, investors, corporate giants, representatives of hi-tech industry and major media outlets at one platform, the Foreign Office earlier said in a press release.
PM Imran Khan will be participating on the first day of the conference and is determined at projecting Pakistan’s economic and investment potential and its vision for the next five years.
According to press release, the ‘Future Investment Initiative’ conference provides an opportunity to interact with significant business leaders who are interested in investing in Pakistan.
PM Imran Khan will also call on King Salman bin Abdel Aziz and meet Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman. Both leader will discuss the matters of mutual interest.
The ‘Future Investment Initiative’ (FII) conference is now an annual feature in Saudi Arabia. The first FII was held last year, with participation of 3,800 people from 90 countries. This year’s FII conference is also likely to attract participation from a large number of leading figures.
The participation of PM Imran Khan in the conference signifies our solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its efforts to become an emerging hub of international business and investment, the press release added.
PM Imran Khan last officially visited Saudi Arabia on September 18.
