Woman defeats son in by-election 2018 from PP-272 Muzaffargarh. Zehra Batool, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate defeated her own son Haroon Sultan Bukhari who contested as the independent candidate.
According to the unofficial results, Zahra Batool got 24,019 votes while her son Haroon Sultan Bukhari came second with 17,072 votes.
