In a significant move ahead of the upcoming general elections in 2024, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has unveiled an extensive campaign schedule. The party plans to conduct a series of 30 rallies across key provinces, including Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab, with the election kick-off scheduled for January 10 in Swabi.
The election campaign set to gain momentum with public gatherings in various cities:
- Faisalabad on January 11
- Leh on January 12
- Bahawalpur on January 13
- Naseer Abad Balochistan on January 14
- Khairpur on January 14

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will play a pivotal role in the campaign, addressing public gatherings in multiple cities, including Qambar Shahdadkot, Badin, Sanghar, Nowshehro Feroz, Mehar, Rahim Yar Khan, Kot Addo, Lahore, Chiniot, Sargodha, Lala Musa, and Multan from January 16 to 26.

Notably, the Central Executive Committee (CEC) of the PPP has already given its nod to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as the party’s candidate for the prime ministerial position. This decision, made during the CEC meeting, reflects the party’s “unwavering confidence” in the leadership of both Asif Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto.
Moreover, the CEC meeting delved into crucial discussions on seat-to-seat adjustments with like-minded political parties, election coalition strategies, and outreach efforts. The general elections are scheduled for February 8, 2024, setting the stage for a dynamic political landscape in Pakistan.
