PTI filed disqualification petition against Zardari in SC


Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf or PTI submitted the disqualification petition against Zardari in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Disqualification petition against Zardari in the Supreme Court filed by PTI Senator Usman Dar today. The plea was submitted against Pakistan People’s Party or PPP leader Asif Ali Zardari for hiding his assets.

The applicant Usman Dar requested to disqualify the former president Asif Zardari under the Article 62-1(F). The petition also holds the details of assets hid by Asif Ali Zardari in his Pakistan Elections 2018 nomination papers. On the other side, Usman Dar also filed the tax receipts of former president’s New York apartments to the court.

A few days back, PTI withdrawn from their disqualification reference against Zardari that is submitted in Election Commission of Pakistan. Khurram Sher Zaman took back his reference and said that he will move to Supreme Court of Pakistan against Zardari. He furher added that they have come across evidence that they can only present before the Supreme Court.
