PTI Sends ECP Letter Urging to Take Notice of Leak in NADRA Database

ISLAMABAD: PTI has sent letter to ECP urging to take notice of alleged leak of sensitive information in NADRA database.

The letter addressed to Chief Election Commissioner by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf also demands the suspension of NADRA Chairman. The letter written by party spokesperson Fawad Chaudry says that there is leak of sensitive information from NADRA databse.

More so the letter also said that ECP is responsible for the holding of transparent elections.


It read that the PTI is the most famous party of Pakistan and it is commendable that the caretaker Government took notice of our demand to change federal and provincial secretaries swiftly.

The letter said that transferring the secretaries will not be enough either but giving posts to experienced people will ensure a fair and transparent elections.

PTI demanded that Constitution dictates ECP to make sure the elections are fair and free and held in a democratic manner. For this ECP should review the machinery used for election purpose.
