Lahore, Pakistan – The city of Lahore has announced a local holiday for tomorrow, April 23, 2024, in honor of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi’s visit.
According to a notification issued by the local authorities, all educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and universities, will remain closed tomorrow. However, the Punjab Secretariat and Divisional offices will continue to operate as usual.
The notification also stated that the DC Office and District offices will be closed for the day.
The visit of President Raisi is expected to strengthen bilateral ties between Pakistan and Iran, and the local holiday has been declared to facilitate the dignitary’s visit.
