To maintain transparency and ensure that commuters benefit from this change, all public transport vehicles are required to prominently display the updated fare charts on their front screens. This measure aims to provide clarity and prevent overcharging.
The Deputy Commissioner has emphasized strict compliance, warning that any vehicle failing to adopt the new fares will face serious consequences. To guarantee the effectiveness of this initiative, all assistant commissioners will begin monitoring the implementation of the revised fares starting tomorrow.
