Punjab Announces New Fish Farms and First Fish Market to Grow Aqua Sector

Punjab Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb shared new plans for the aquaculture sector during her address in Lahore. She said the government will build six new fish farms. She explained the project as a long-term step to support farmers and grow the sector.

She spoke about the potential in aquaculture. She said the government will give full support to local farmers. She added that the sector can drive economic growth, so the province wants to expand it with new projects and trained teams.
