Distribution of Himmat Card to Begin in Punjab from September 16, 2024

Key Highlights of the Himmat Card Program
- The Himmat Card will distributed to 40,000 individuals in the first phase.
- 15,000 special individuals from Lahore will receive the card on September 16, 2024.
- Each recipient will get 10,500 rupees every three months through the Himmat Card.

The Himmat Card initiative aims to empower and financially support individuals with disabilities across Punjab. The Bank of Punjab will issue ATM cards to 65,000 people, which will used as Himmat Cards for withdrawing the quarterly assistance.
Registration and Distribution Details
The registration process for the Himmat Card began in June 2024. Now, after thorough planning, the distribution will officially commence in Lahore, with preparations for a special ceremony at a local hotel already underway. The Department of Social Welfare is ensuring that the rollout is smooth and reaches the eligible recipients on time.
