The Punjab provincial cabinet has approved the recruitment of 1,986 constables and lady constables under the Punjab Police Jobs 2025 plan. Seats Allocation for Punjab Police Jobs 2025
Under the Punjab Police Jobs 2025 scheme, 1,680 seats distributed across 34 districts of Punjab:
- 15% for female jobs in Punjab Police
- 10% for ex-army personnel
- 5% for minorities
- 70% for open merit
If no eligible candidates available for a specific quota, those seats transferred to open merit.
Punjab Police Jobs 2025 Selection Process
For Lahore district, recruitment overseen by the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore, with the DIG Administration as Secretary and the SP Headquarters as member.
For other districts, the Regional Police Officer (RPO) will serve as Chairman, with the City Police Officer (CPO) or District Police Officer (DPO) as Secretary, and the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Intelligence Bureau (IB) as member.
