Under the leadership of Punjab’s Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Punjab Student Laptop Program has been launched to support students in the province. This initiative will provide 40,000 free laptops to students studying in both public and private universities and colleges. The goal is to help students stay up-to-date with the latest technology and enhance their educational experience.
Laptops Distribution Details
Out of the 40,000 laptops, 30,000 will be given to students from government institutions, while the remaining 10,000 will be for students in private institutions. A special focus is placed on various fields:
- 20,000 laptops will go to university students
- 14,000 laptops will go to college students
- 4,000 laptops will go to agriculture and business students
- 2,000 laptops will be distributed to medical and dental students
Additionally, 2,000 laptops will be reserved for the minority community, ensuring equal opportunity for all students.
Who’s Eligible to Apply?
To benefit from the Punjab Student Laptop Program, students need to meet the following criteria:
- Be between 18 and 22 years of age
- Be a permanent resident of Punjab
- Be enrolled in a university or college in Punjab
- Have no criminal record

- Registration Portal: The Punjab government will soon launch a portal for students to register.
- Required Information: You will need to fill out personal details, including your name, CNIC, phone number, and educational information.
- Documents: Upload your original CNIC and result card in a clear, readable format.
- Submit Application: After filling out the registration form and uploading documents, submit your application.
- Laptop Distribution: Once registered, you’ll receive your Core i7 13th generation laptop on the specified distribution date.
With this initiative, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif aims to empower the youth of Punjab with the tools they need to succeed in their educational journey.
