Qurbani Ki Khal Rates in Karachi: As Eid al-Adha 2024 approaches, the prices for the skins of sacrificial animals in Karachi have been announced, bringing clarity for those participating in the Qurbani ritual. The All Pakistan Tanners Association has set the rates for this year’s collection.
According to Amaanullah Aftab, a representative from the association, the prices for animal skins are as follows:
- Cow Skin: 1100 to 1500 rupees
- Goat Skin: 400 to 450 rupees
- Camel Skin: 550 rupees
Aftab highlighted that the prices of sacrificial animals have increased this year compared to previous years. This price adjustment reflects the market conditions and the anticipated higher demand for sacrificial animals.
The association expects to collect approximately 2.8 million cow skins and around 3.3 million goat skins from across Pakistan. This significant number underscores the scale of the Qurbani tradition in the country and its economic impact.
Residents and participants in Karachi can now plan their Qurbani activities with these new rates in mind, ensuring they are well-informed about the market conditions during this festive season.
