The temperature significantly dropped after rain in Karachi hit different areas.
The rain in Karachi turned the weather pleasant and chilly. The areas where rain was reported are Liaquatabad, MA Jinnah Road, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, New Karachi, SITE Area, Nazimabad, Malir, Sohrab Goth, and Surjani Town.
As soon as the rain in Karachi started, power breakdowns were also reported in rain affected areas of the provincial capital.
The meteorological office forecasted more rain, saying heavy rain will hit Karachi on February 20-21, adding that the weather in the city today will be partly cloudy and the minimum temperature will range between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius.
The Met Office said mainly cold and dry weather is expected in several parts of Pakistan during next 24 hours. However, rain (with snowfall over the hills) is also expected at different places in Kalat, Quetta and Zhob divisions.
