Reopening of Wedding Halls

The reopening of wedding halls in Pakistan from September 15 is confirmed by the provincial governments of Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The decision is taken as the COVID-19 or Coronavirus cases in Pakistan are constantly decreasing.

The ban on marriage halls in Pakistan is lifted upon the directives of NCOC or National Command and Operation Centre. As per the notification, the events at wedding halls can take place from Tuesday (today).

Sindh Government also issued the new timings for the business activities from 6 am to 8 pm. However, shops are allowed to remain open on Saturday nights till 9 pm. However, these measures will be applicable till 15th October.

Punjab Government also announced that the wedding halls and educational institutions will be reopened from 15th September.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government released another notification and announced the reopening of wedding halls from September 15.
