The Roshan Gharana Program, with a Rs 12.6 billion budget, plans to give solar systems to 50,000 Punjab consumers. Beneficiaries, mainly those using up to 100 units monthly, will be selected by lottery in the first phase. The solar package includes advanced solar plates, inverters, batteries, and more.

The program extends financing options for a range of needs, including property purchase, construction, renovation, and land acquisition. Participants can avail of equal monthly installment plans, with a flexible financing tenure ranging from 3 to 25 years. Financing covers up to 85% of the property value for purchase and construction, and up to 30% for renovation.
Roshan Gharana Program Eligibility Criteria
Both salaried and non-salaried individuals can apply for the program, provided they meet the specified criteria. For salaried individuals, the requirements include a valid NICOP, a Non-Resident RDA account, and a minimum of two years of continuous employment. Non-salaried individuals must hold a valid NICOP, a Non-Resident RDA account, and have a minimum of two years of continuous business operation.
