Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia has released the Umrah policy of Pakistan 2025, which has brought a stringent travel and visa timeline. According to the new regulations of Umrah visa, pilgrims have to enter Saudi Arabia within a month in which the visa has issuance. A traveler would automatically be cancelled of the visa in case he or she does not arrive within 30 days.
The Umrah visa policy 2025 shortens the length of pre-entry validity of three months to one month. However, once in Saudi Arabia, pilgrims have the possibility of remaining in Saudi Arabia up to three months. Umrah pilgrims have to book hotels and transportation using the Nusuk or Masar applications and then request a visa.
The Umrah visa has also introduced new regulations, allowing any traveler with a valid Saudi visa, such as a tourist visa, work visa, or visit visa, to perform Umrah. This is to make access easier for foreign visitors, including Pakistani visitors.
Saudi authorities say that these changes will be used since the next cycle of Umrah starting November 2025. The Pakistani applicants are required to go through the approved travel agents and submit all their accommodation information and ID checking on the official system.
The new policy of Umrah is Pakistan 2025, which is introduced against the background of issuing an unprecedented number of Umrah visas since June 2025, more than 4 million. According to the Saudi Ministry, the modifications belong to the digital and logistical transformations to enhance the management of crowds and visa processing to pilgrims across the globe.
