In an unprecedented move, the Punjab government is set to elevate the living standards of its officials. A proposal is underway to construct 127 high-end residences in Lahore’s prestigious DHA locality. Each of these opulent homes carries a price tag of 35 crore rupees.
The blueprint of this ambitious project has been forwarded to the Chief Minister’s Office for approval. As per the proposal, the DHA will lend its expertise in building these luxury abodes for the senior officials. The project envisages the construction of these residences on a sprawling 1400 kanal land, with each 2 kanal house costing 35 crore rupees.
The Board of Revenue, responsible for the proposal, has submitted the plan to the Chief Minister of Punjab. The final nod on this initiative rests with the Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, who is expected to decide in an upcoming cabinet meeting.
