Session Judge Resigns Post After Feeling Humiliated by CJP’s Actions

LARKANA: Sessions and District Judge�Gul Zameer Solangi resigned from post after feeling humiliated on CJP’s actions.

CJP Saqib Nisar had visit Larkana’s Session and District Court on his tour to the city. He observed the hearing of a case in which Judge Gul Zameer was hearing. During the hearing the Chief Justice questioned the Judge, but was dissatisfied with the answers.

Chief Justice then asked how many hearings has he presided over since morning, the judge replied 3.

Hearing this the top judge lashed out at the sessions judge and asked him how will justice be served if the system is so slow.

When he was about to leave he found the session judge’s phone on the table, which made the top judge irritated. He lifted the phone and told the judge to keep this in his chambers or house and threw the mobile on the judge’s table.

The video of the Judge’s phone being thrown by the Chief Justice of Pakistan had become viral on media.

After which the sessions court judge has sent in his resignation to the Sindh Registrar.

 

 

The session judge owed his resignation to suffering deep anguish and injury to his self respect on actions of Chief Justice.
