The Sindh government has announced a significant reward of 50 million rupees for Arshad Nadeem, who achieved a historic gold medal in javelin throw at the Olympics. This victory not only brought pride to the nation but also set a new Olympic record, a remarkable achievement celebrated by many.
Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab expressed his admiration for Arshad Nadeem, highlighting his exceptional performance. He emphasized the importance of Arshad’s victory and the inspiration it brings to aspiring athletes across Pakistan. The mayor also shared that the Sindh government is offering a reward of 50 million rupees in recognition of Arshad’s outstanding accomplishment.
In addition to this, Mayor Wahab announced the establishment of a new sports academy in Karachi that will be named after Arshad Nadeem. This initiative aims to nurture and develop future sports talent in the country.
Furthermore, the Sindh government and the Mayor of Sukkur announced a gold crown for Arshad Nadeem. They also revealed plans to name the New Sports Stadium, which is currently under construction, in his honor.
Arshad Nadeem’s record-breaking performance at the Paris Olympics marks a monumental moment in Pakistan’s sports history, earning the country its first gold medal in 40 years and its first-ever in an individual event.
