The Sindh government has allocated Rs232.14 million to organize a free-of-charge retake of the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) for candidates who took the original test on September 22. This decision follows a Sindh High Court directive, mandating a retake after integrity issues found with the initial examination.

The retake will be managed by the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Sukkur, which selected by the Sindh cabinet to uphold transparency and quality in the testing process.
Vigilance Committees to Oversee Retake
In a recent cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, it decided that vigilance committees would formed in collaboration with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) to closely monitor the MDCAT retake. The Chief Minister emphasized that the examination will adhere strictly to the Sindh syllabus, disregarding previous validations, to ensure fairness for all candidates.
