If you’ve been having trouble with social media apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram recently, you’re not alone. Many people across Pakistan have been facing slow internet speeds and issues with these platforms.
According to Down Detector, a real-time internet monitoring service, users in major cities such as Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, and Faisalabad have been experiencing slow performance on WhatsApp and Instagram since last Friday. The service also highlights that some users have reported outages for both apps.
While most reports indicate that the apps are functioning sluggishly, with messages failing to send or be received properly, it’s important to remember that similar issues occurred in July. Back then, the government was testing new firewalls to block certain content on social media platforms.
This recurring problem with slow internet and app performance has left many users frustrated, as they struggle with connectivity and communication challenges.
