In a shocking and tragic incident, a software engineer lost his temper and killed the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of his company in an office located on Shahra-e-Faisal.
On Monday, Muhammad Shuaib, a software engineer, allegedly stabbed CEO Navid Khan in the office. The incident was captured in a video circulating on Facebook. According to the video, Shuaib had not received his salary for a prolonged period, which led him to bring a knife to the office and attack the CEO.
The tragic event unfolded in a small software house comprising just two rooms. Other employees quickly intervened, grabbing Shuaib and handing him over to the police.
Navid Khan was immediately taken to Jinnah Hospital in critical condition, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. His brother clarified that Navid was not the owner of the company but served as its CEO. The accused, Muhammad Shuaib, was a former employee of the company.
The deceased’s brother also mentioned that Navid was not responsible for the non-payment of Shuaib’s salary. The salary disbursement issue stemmed from the company’s head office.
This tragic incident has left the community in shock and mourning, highlighting the dire consequences of unresolved workplace grievances.
