The Latest Petrol Price In Pakistan Has Gone Up By Rs 8

A day after Prime Minister Imran Khan warned of a rise in prices of petroleum products, the government on Friday increased petrol Price in Pakistan. The price of petrol surge by Rs 8.03 per liter.

As per notification of the Ministry of Finance, after the increase, the new price of petrol has gone up to Rs 145.82 per liter. The notification said the increase would take effect on November 5.

Price of high speed diesel is increased by Rs 8.14 per liter. Now it will be Rs 142.62 per liter.

The price of light diesel oil soars by Rs 5.72 reach to Rs 114.07 per liter. While the price of kerosene is now Rs 116.53 per liter.

According to the notification dated November 1, 2021, the PM Imran Khan did not agree with the suggestions of OGRA and Finance Division. He directed to maintain the prices as per the notification dated October 16, 2021.

The government has absorbed most of the pressure after making adjustments in sales taxes and petroleum levies. Otherwise, prices would have been much higher than current rates.
