TLP Chief Saad Rizvi Welcomed By Partyworkes After Release From Jail

Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan TLP Chief Saad Rizvi reached the Rehmatul Lil Alameen Mosque. A spoke person of TLP confirms his release from jail. TLP party workers and a large crowd welcomed him.

Rizvi taken into custody in April on the directive of Deputy Commissioner Lahore and shifted to Kot Lakhpat Jail.� Immediately after his custody, the party announced a nationwide protest.

The protest ended after the discussion between the government and the party officials. In compliance with the agreement, the Punjab government decided to remove the names of at least 90 members of the then-banned organization from the fourth schedule of the Anti-Terrorism Act 1997.� 100 members of TLP have released from different jails.

After meeting family members, Saad held a meeting with the TLP administration. Meeting briefed on the arrangements for the first Urs of his father, Maulana Khadim Hussain Rizvi, on November 20-21.
