Turkey President Visit Pakistan: PM Shehbaz & President Zardari Receive Luxury Electric Car Gifts from Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan presented Turkey’s domestically produced electric vehicle, the Togg T10X, to Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during his official visit to Islamabad on February 13, 2025. The Togg T10X, a symbol of Turkey’s advancements in the automotive industry, boasts a range of up to 523 kilometers and features advanced safety systems.

During the visit, Prime Minister Sharif took the wheel of the Togg T10X, with President Erdoğan accompanying him as a passenger, highlighting the camaraderie between the two leaders.

The Togg T10X is Turkey’s first domestically produced electric SUV, reflecting the nation’s commitment to innovation and sustainable transportation. The vehicle offers two battery options, providing ranges of 314 km and 523 km respectively, and supports fast charging capabilities, allowing the battery to charge from 20% to 80% in just 28 minutes.

This gesture follows a similar pattern, as President Erdoğan has previously gifted the Togg T10X to other leaders, including Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, symbolizing Turkey’s diplomatic goodwill and the promotion of its automotive industry on the global stage.

The exchange of the Togg T10X between President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Sharif not only signifies the strengthening bilateral relations between Turkey and Pakistan but also showcases Turkey’s strides in electric vehicle technology, positioning the Togg T10X as a notable entrant in the global electric vehicle market.
