Hulusi Akar, Turkish defence minister, arrived in Pakistan on yesterday’s night. The aim is to make discussions on different key issues.
Turkish defence minister Hulusi Akar reached Islamabad, Pakistan. However, he was received by Turkey’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Mustafa Yurdakul and Rear Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami at Noor Khan Airbase.
During the visit, he will meet with top military and civil brass of Pakistan during the visit. Earlier, Suleyman Soylu, Turkish Interior Minister met with PM Imran Khan. However, both of them discussed the bilateral linkages and also the steps to improve cooperation in different matters. However, Shehryar Khan Afridi, Pakistan’s Minister of State also attended the meeting.
PM Imran Khan expressed the satisfaction over growing Pak-Turk relations. In addition, he also extended the invitation to the leadership of Turkey. However, it also included the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Pakistan. Suleyman Soylu also extended the invitation to PM Imran Khan to visit Turkey.
