At least two army pilots were martyred on Monday in a helicopter crash in Siachin, said the military’s media wing.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an army aviation helicopter crashed at Siachin. The two martyred pilots have been identified as Major Irfan Bercha and Major Raja Zeeshan Jahanzeb.
Army troops have reached and cordoned off the site of the incident. Search and rescue helicopters are also taking part in the recovery operation.
Pictures of the shaheed pilots have not been released as yet.
