Before the main event, the newly elected members of the National Assembly will select the leader of the House. This crucial decision will be made through a ‘show of hands’ on either February 28 or February 29.

The ceremony will be graced by a host of dignitaries. Among them will be Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, and Joint Chief of Staff Committee Chairman General Sahir Shamshad Mirza. The military will be represented by Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Baber. Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, along with his cabinet members and foreign envoys, will also be present.
