Dr. Zakir Naik, the famous Islamic scholar, has landed in Islamabad. His arrival was met with a warm welcome from Rana Mashhood, the Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, and Atta-ur-Rehman, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Dr. Zakir Naik is set to deliver speeches in Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore, where people will get the chance to hear him speak live. His trip to Pakistan also includes meetings with top government officials.
Earlier, Dr. Zakir Naik shared a post on X (formerly Twitter), saying he was coming to Pakistan with his son, Sheikh Fariq Naik, at the invitation of the government.

As per the schedule shared on social media, Dr. Zakir Naik’s public talks will be held in Karachi on October 5 and 6, Lahore on October 12 and 13, and Islamabad on October 19 and 20. Fans can also catch his speeches live on Peace TV.
For those who remember, back in 2016, the Indian government banned Dr. Zakir Naik’s Islamic Research Foundation, accusing it of illegal activities. Then, in 2019, he faced charges of treason and money laundering, which made it impossible for him to go back to India.
Dr. Zakir Naik had planned to visit Pakistan in 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic delayed his trip. Now, with his visit finally happening, all eyes are on his upcoming speeches.
