Zakir Naik (Karachi) Public Lecture: Which Roads Are Closed for Traffic Today?

The Karachi Traffic Police has released a special traffic plan for Dr. Zakir Naik’s upcoming lecture on October 5, to help manage the expected crowd and avoid traffic jams. The event is set to take place at Bara Dari, near Jinnah Bagh, at 7 PM. With a large audience expected, the authorities have made special parking and traffic arrangements to ensure things go smoothly.

For those attending the event, parking will be provided at the YMCA Ground and DJ College Ground. But keep in mind, that you’ll have to park your car at these spots and walk to Polo Ground, which is close to the event location. As the roads around Bara Dari will be closed to regular traffic, it’s important to note which areas will be blocked and how you can avoid the hassle.

Chundrigar Road or Shaheen Chowk, you’ll be redirected to PIDC via Ziauddin Road and Khajoor Chowk. From there, traffic will move towards Club Road, and then depending on your destination, you can either head towards Clifton or Shahrah-e-Faisal.

Similarly, if you’re coming from the Shaheen Complex signal, you’ll be directed towards MR Kayani Chowk and Zainab Market. From Fawara Chowk, traffic will be routed towards the Awari signal, giving you access to Shahrah-e-Faisal and Teen Talwar. There will also be No Parking zones on both sides from Sindh Club Chowk to Metropole and from Fawara Chowk as well.

The traffic police advise people to plan and avoid these closed roads if possible.
