Zarkhez App Live: Apply for Rs 1 Million Agricultural Loans in Pakistan

The government recently launched the Zarkhez app, a digital platform that lets you apply for agricultural loans of up to Rs 1 million from your smartphone. This initiative involves the Ministry of Finance, the State Bank of Pakistan, and the Pakistan Banks’ Association. It removes the need for repeated bank visits and cuts down paperwork.

How to Apply For Zarkhez-e Asaan Digital Qarza?

  • You download the app and submit your application online.
  • The system verifies your identity and assesses your land.
  • You then choose your preferred bank.
  • Once the bank approves your request, you receive the funds in a specific structure.

Banks provide 75 percent of the loan value for purchasing essential inputs like seeds and fertilizers from pre-approved agricultural vendors. To cover daily farming expense, you will also get the remaining 25 percent.

Collateral-Free Financing and Advisory

This scheme targets small farmers who often lack traditional security. You can access these funds without pledging collateral. To support banks, the government offers a 10 percent first-loss coverage and a subsidy for operational costs. Beyond money, the app connects you to the Land Information Management System (LIMS). This feature gives you real-time advisory services to help you make smarter crop decisions.

Zarkhez-e-Asaan Digital Qarza Eligibility and Application

Resident Pakistani farmers aged 21 to 60 with a valid CNIC can apply. Landholding limits apply based on your province. This initiative provides a safe substitute for high-interest informal lenders.
