Zil Hajj Moon is sighted in Pakistan, Eid ul Adha will be on August 12


Zil Hajj Moon is now sighted in Pakistan and Eid ul Adha will be on Monday, August 12.

The Central Ruet e Hilal Committee announced the Eid ul Adha moon sighting 2019. Mufti Munib ur Rehman chaired the meeting at Karachi. Eid ul Adha and Hajj date are now revealed.

Earlier, it was announced that Eid ul Adha holidays in Pakistan 2019 will be from August 12 to 15. As per the notification by the Interior Ministry, these days will be public holidays during the Holy Festival of Eid ul Adha, In addition, 17 August 2019 (Saturday) shall be a working day.

On the other side, Zil Hajj moon in Saudi Arabia was sighted on August 1 (Thursday). However, Hajj is going to begin from August 9 (Friday). As per the today Islamic date in Saudia, Eid ul Adha in Saudi Arabia will be on August 11.
