Washington: Apple revealed that it is enhancing encryption on iPhones so police cannot easily unlock the phone without the authorization.

Apple is looking to prevent iPhones from unauthorized access by police officers. According to some reports, police officials utilizes “GrayKey” tool which assists them to bypass the smartphone’s security features.

Apple said that that the new encryption techniques are not developed to create problems for the law enforcement agencies but to prevent any bypassing of encryption from unauthorized people.

Apple said it was working a fix to mitigate the possibility of accessing data from GrayKey or similar tools. A few years back, the company also went to the court against FBI.
