Today marks the arrival of 2024’s first lunar eclipse. However, sky enthusiasts in Pakistan will miss out on this celestial event.
The eclipse will grace the skies in regions where the Moon is visible during the occurrence. This includes America, a majority of European countries, significant parts of Asia, Australia, Africa, and the northern and eastern territories of Asia.
Unfortunately, for Pakistan, the Moon will be below the horizon, rendering the eclipse invisible. This particular event is a penumbral lunar eclipse, with a duration spanning four hours and forty minutes. So, while Pakistanis might not witness this cosmic play, the rest of the world is in for a treat.
