Super Moon Tonight Visibility Across Pakistan
Pakistan is set to witness the final supermoon of 2025 tonight. The Supermoon 4 December will rise at 4:58 PM in major cities with 99.2% illumination. SUPARCO confirms it will reach peak brightness at 4:15 AM on December 5 with 99.8% illumination.
The Moon will be 357,218 km from Earth tonight. During the supermoon, the Moon appears 7.9% larger and 15% brighter than a typical full moon. Observers can see this Super moon cold moon clearly without any telescope.
The Supermoon 4 December will be visible in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and other major cities. Moonrise occurs in the evening and peak brightness in early morning. Clear skies will offer the best viewing experience.
SUPARCO states this is the third consecutive supermoon of 2025. It is also the last supermoon for the year, making tonight a notable astronomical event.
How to Watch Supermoon in Pakistan 2025
No special equipment is needed to view this supermoon. Just look up into the sky at moonrise or close to peak time. The Moon will appear larger on the horizon due to optical effects.
