United Kingdom: The watchdog of UK’s data privacy instructed Cambridge Analytica to turn over all the personal data of Americans it holds.

Data security analysts believe that the order to Cambridge Analytica will set a new benchmark. However, millions of other US voters would also demand the information that the company collected from them.

Information Commissioner Office earlier served notice to SCL Elections which is the parent company of Cambridge Analytica. The aim is to offer the information it holds about David Carrol. However, the failure to do so would be acknowledged as the criminal offense and later results in the huge fine. The order came a few days after both organizations filed for the insolvency. However, the company is accused of selling data of millions of Facebook users without their permission.
