UNITED KINGDOM: Pakistan Head coach Mickey Arthur says he hopes that International cricket teams tour Pakistan normally again soon. He said that while he was with the team in England who are ready to face off against England and Ireland in a test match series.

International Cricket activities were suspended in Pakistan for almost a decade after Sri Lankan Cricket team was attacked in Lahore during their tour here.

International Cricket in Pakistan So Far

Other than few matches played by the team of Zimbawe three years ago, Sri Lankan team played a Twenty20 international in Lahore against Pakistan. During the start of April West Indies played a 3 day T20 international series against Pakistan in Karachi.

However it seems like Pakistan Super League has revived international cricket in Pakistan, with other teams feeling a bit less hesitant than before to tour the country for game. Pakistani Government even extended their invitation to English high commissioner in Pakistan for England to play on Pakistani grounds.

Pakistan was able to snag victory from India in Champions Trophy in 2017 against India under the guidance of Head coach Mickey Arthur.
