Babar Azam overtakes Kohli and Gayle to get a big record

The Pakistani Skipper, Babar Azam achieved another milestone as he became the fastest cricketer to score 7,000 runs in the T20 cricket.

Yesterday, he made a record during the match at National T20 Cup 2021 when he reached the benchmark of 7,000 T20 runs in just 187 innings. However, West Indian player Chris Gayle and Indian skipper Virat Kohli done it in 192 and 212 innings respectively.

Out of the 7,000 runs, he scored 2,204 runs in T20 International with the average of 46.89. Besides that, he scored 3,058 runs in the franchise cricket in 84 PSL, Bangladesh Premier League, England�s Vitality Blast, and Caribbean Premier League matches.

Up till, he has scored 259 runs in the National T20 Cup and it is the highest by any player. In addition, he also hit one century and fifty in the domestic tournament. However, his side Central Punjab is currently at third position.
