Lahore: Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa wrote a letter to Najam Sethi and praised him and PCB for their efforts for bringing cricket back in Pakistan.
Qamar Javed Bajwa acknowledged the efforts in his letter dated 3rd May. However, he praised the arrangements made by PCB and Najam Sethi for the PSL and home series with West Indies. COAS Qamar Javed also said that these events will not just help cricket in Pakistan but will be also helpful to highlight the positive image of Pakistan. He also thanked Najam Sethi for the kind remarks over foolproof security arrangements.

After conducting PSL 2017 final in Lahore, PCB succeeded to conduct eliminators matches and Final of PSL 2018 in Lahore and Karachi respectively. In addition, West Indies team also visited Pakistan for the T20I series in Karachi.
