Cricketer Faheem Ashraf Quits County to Give Time to National Team

All-rounder cricketer Faheem Ashraf has withdrawn from his English county contract to ensure his availability for the National team’s upcoming matches.

The young Pakistani cricketer was to join the county in 14 T20 matches and two 4-day games between the period of July and September. But he has decided to quit the county this year to represent Pakistan in the T20 series against Australia and Zimbabwe in July-August and Asia Cup in September.

Faheem, who was one of the bowlers to have taken the most wickets in Pakistan Super League 2018 with 18 wickets for Islamabad United, had also withdrawn from a Bangladesh Premier League contract last year to play domestic cricket in Pakistan.
