Hazara defeated Peshawar All Stars by seven wickets.
Peshawar Zalmi and the Zalmi Foundation organized the Zalmi Women’s League Season Two in Peshawar in collaboration with Ufone 4G, UN Women, and the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
After the remarkable success of Season One, Season Two concluded with Hazara’s impressive victory.
In the final played at Hayatabad Sports Complex Peshawar, Peshawar batted first and scored 59 runs for the loss of three wickets. In reply, Hazara successfully chased the target with three wickets down.
For Hazara, Mahnoor Qayoom played a key role in the win by scoring 28 runs.
At the occasion of the final, Zalmi superstar Mohammad Haris, Pakistan Test star Sajid Khan, Deputy Country Representative UN Women Jacqui Ketunuti, Country Representative UNFPA Dr. Luay Shabaneh, Secretary Sports Tashfeen, Secretary Education Kamran Afridi, UN Pakistan officials, and COO Peshawar Zalmi Mian Abbas Laeeq were present.




In the first semifinal, Hazara Daffodils defeated Peshawar Thunder Bolts by 23 runs. Hazara, batting first, scored 77 runs without losing any wicket. In reply, Peshawar’s team could only score 54 runs for the loss of three wickets.
Peshawar All Stars defeated Malakand in the second semifinal.
This year’s edition, while further strengthening the vision of “From Dream to Reality,” will prove to be an important milestone for the promotion of women’s cricket.
Ufone 4G, UN Women, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Higher Education Department KP, and DG Sports KP fully supported the organization of Season 2. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to empowering women, providing equal opportunities, and enabling young players to progress in professional sports.
