Reports indicate that the ICC has already shared the Champions Trophy schedule with member countries, making this inspection crucial for assessing Pakistan’s venues and facilities in Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi. The event will feature cricket stars and local celebrities, marking it as a grand occasion for Pakistan’s cricketing community.
In the proposed schedule, Pakistan lands in Group A with India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, while Group B consists of England, South Africa, Australia, and Afghanistan. However, India’s participation is still tentative, awaiting clearance from its government.
The tournament will run from February 19 to March 9, with March 10 as a reserve day for the final.
