The former captain of Pakistan Cricket team Inzamam ul Haq went through the angioplasty surgery after he faced the heart attack.
His manager revealed that the successful angioplasty of former chief selector was conducted at a private hospital in Lahore. He further added that although the condition is stable but he is under observation. However, a stent is placed in Inzamam ul Haq?s heart.
The cricketing legend was complaining regarding the chest pain over the last 3 days. However, tests revealed that he face the heart attack and needed surgery.
Inzamam ul Haq first came into limelight during the ICC Cricket World Cup 1992. Later, he became the leading run scorer for Pakistan in ODIs with over 11,000 runs. In addition, he is also the third highest run-getter in Tests from the country. However, he scored 8,829 runs in 119 test matches.
He is considered among country?s most successful skippers. He retired from international cricket in the year 2007 and began serving cricket in several roles.
