Pakistan lost the Pak Vs NZ test match by 4 runs as they bowled out on 171 while chasing 176. Azhar Ali played with the defensive approach that also harmed Pakistan badly. He was the last man to out and scored 65 runs on 136 balls.

During Pak Vs NZ test match today, Pakistan lost 8 wickets and is still 15 runs short with 161/8. Pakistan, were 130/4 at the break with Azhar Ali unbeaten on 40 after an innings-reviving stand of 82 with Asad Shafiq before the lunch.


Asad Shafiq was caught behind to left-arm paceman Neil Wagner after lifting Pakistan from a perilous 48-3 since resuming at 37 without loss.

Asad Shafiq and Azhar Ali saved Pakistan after the drama at the start of today’s play, when Pakistan lost three quick wickets in the space of just eight runs and as many balls.

Yesterday, Leg spinner Yasir Shah and medium pacer Hasan Ali took 5 wickets each to put Pakistan on the victory. Yasir Shah took five wickets in an innings for 14th time by taking 5-110. However, Hasan Ali took his maiden five-wicket haul with 5-45. Yesterday, in the last session, New Zealand collapsed from 220/4 to 249 all out.
