Pakistan VS Leicestershire: A Two-Day Warmup Match Will Begin Today


Pakistan and Leicestershire will compete today in a two-day warmup match. The contest is an opportunity for Pakistan to prepare for the Pakistan VS England Test Series.

Pakistan VS Leicestershire warm-up match will start from today at Grace Road, Leicester. Pakistan recently won a test match against Ireland with five wickets. The warm-up match is the Pakistan’s last match before the test series with England. The first test match between Pakistan and England will be played from 24th May. Yesterday, Pakistan cricket team attended a practice session in Leicester.

Muhammad Abbas took nine wickets in the test match against Ireland. However, he has also represented Leicestershire County Cricket Club. Leicestershire’s Head Coach, Paul Nixon said that they are fully aware with the skills and talent of Muhammad Abbas. He further added that it will be good to see Muhammad Abbas at the Fischer County Ground.

The format of Pakistan VS Leicestershire warm-up match will be 2 innings for each team. The team which will bat first will be allowed to play maximum 100 overs. The match will be start at 3:00 PST (11:00 Local Time) and will be end at 10:00 PM PST (18:00 Local Time).
